Attorney General Baharav-Miara: ‘Israeli regime change is accelerating before our eyes -- this is the reality we live in’ (Haaretz):

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara has warned that Israel's form of government is undergoing rapid changes under the guise of the Gaza war, threatening its democratic institutions. "Under the auspices of the war, the regime change has accelerated greatly," the attorney general said. "This isn't a warning about the future, it's the reality we live in." Israel's form of government is "changing rapidly before our eyes," Baharav-Miara said. "There is a major weakening of democratic institutions. The ongoing damage to the judiciary and its erosion are particularly dangerous."
